    1. You are so right. The pandemic has not been a great time for focusing on writing. Well done for finding a way to keep progressing – you will be a better writer when you’re ready to tackle those big projects!

  2. I stop reading, writing and listening to music when I’m struggling with my mental health which is a difficult thing to deal with because all of those things bring me joy and purpose. I love your encouraging tips and advice here — I will put some of these into practice the next time I get stuck in a bit of a rut!

  3. I really enjoyed your post! I started a writing course a few weeks ago and I have to say that I often have writer’s block when it comes to doing the exercises. I have days of inspiration and days when it’s a complete blank. Like you said, I’ve found that by taking a step back to focus on other things, I’m able to get back to writing something I’ve left undone. As for reading, I can barely find time for all the books that are waiting for me. I miss reading.
